Getting started

To simplify matters, each project is compiled from a "Makefile". This is a single file that lists all the relevant source files for the given project. When the makefile is called (by typing 'make' into the terminal), the source files should compile.

If you get this error after typing 'make':

Makefile:32: lib/scip/make/make.project: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `lib/scip/make/make.project'. Stop.

then you will need to create soft links to the scip directory. To do this, make sure you are in the project directory and type 'ln -s <scip directory> lib/scip'. For example, on the Maths and Stats servers at the University of Melbourne, the scip.h file is located in /usr/local/apps/scip-1.2.0/.
