Honeycomb lattice polygons and walks as a test of seriesanalysis techniques

Tony's continued enthusiasm and support has been pivotal inmaking series expansions something of a Melbourne specialty.In particular the success of series expansions as a numericaltechnique has relied crucially on several of Tony's contributionsto the field a asymptotic series analysis. In my talk I willuse long series expansions for self-avoiding polygons and walkson the honeycomb lattice to test the accuracy of the methodsfor series analysis. For the honeycomb lattice the connectiveconstant, critical exponents and many amplitude ratios areknown exactly, making it the perfect test-bed for series analysis.
